  A micro-adventure is a short, intense and local immersion. At Mikado Adventure, we organise experiences lasting a few full days, with no logistical burden on your part. It is the ideal solution for escaping everyday life and experiencing a total disconnection – whether in France, close to home, or in full immersion abroad.

• How does the "secret" or mystery travel concept work?

  It is our signature! Whether for a private client or a corporate seminar, we define the framework together (budget, fitness level, preferences). However, the exact destination and detailed programme are only revealed at the moment of departure. This guarantees an immediate sense of letting go and maximum excitement for your loved ones or your team members.

• Do you offer immersive expeditions abroad?

  Yes, we design bespoke international adventure trips. These expeditions are centred around “slow travel”, encounters with local cultures and immersion in wild landscapes, with full management of all logistics on our part (visas, flights, local coordination).

• Why choose an adventure seminar for my company?

• What does Mikado's "zero hassle" service include?

  We manage 100% of the logistical engineering: transport, unique accommodation, technical equipment, local meals and supervision by expert guides. For you, the experience is entirely turnkey: all you have to do is let yourself be carried by the present moment.

• What equipment do I need to bring for my Mikado adventure?

  For each departure, Mikado Adventure provides you with a personalised equipment list tailored to your programme ahead of departure. We favour efficient minimalism. For technical expeditions, we can also include the rental of specific equipment (high-altitude sleeping bags, technical rucksacks) within our turnkey service.

• Do you need to be highly athletic to join your adventures?

  Not at all. The strength of our bespoke approach lies in its adaptability. When designing your itinerary, we define your “intensity dial”. Whether you are a fan of contemplative walking or an athlete, the immersion remains total as it is rooted in lived experience rather than athletic performance.

• Is it possible to organise an immersive trip for families with children?

  Absolutely. Depending on the composition of the group, we can create expeditions adapted to the pace of younger participants. These trips prioritise the playful discovery of nature, encounters with wildlife and comfortable accommodation or bivouacs, so that the adventure remains a pleasure shared by all generations.

• What is the average budget for a bespoke adventure trip?

  Chaque projet étant unique, le tarif dépend de la destination, de la durée et du niveau de logistique. Généralement, le cout d’une aventure en France commence à 720 € TTC (600 € HT) par personne. Notre  tarif inclut systématiquement un accompagnement le jour J et l’intégralité des frais sur place pour vous garantir une transparence totale et l’absence de coûts cachés.

• How does Mikado Adventure limit its environmental impact?

  Respect for ecosystems is at the heart of our DNA. We practise “leave no trace” & “slow travel”, which involves respecting the sites visited as well as conscientious waste management, where applicable. We also favour short supply chains for our meals and work directly with local guides who are experts in the field. Travelling with us means supporting responsible and regenerative tourism.
